On Thursday, April 6, 2023, in Moscow, a meeting of representatives of the Women 20 delegations and participants of the Eurasian Women’s Forum was held under the chairmanship of Galina Karelova, Deputy Speaker of the Federation Council.
The event was attended by members of the Federation Council, representatives of Russia’s delegation to the Women 20 — Sherpa Victoria Panova, delegation members Alena Peryshkina and Elena Myakotnikova, Indonesia’s Women 20 Sherpa Uli Silalahi, and Sibulele Poswayo, a member of South Africa’s Women 20 delegation.
The main topic of discussion was the development of partnership relations between the two formats, as well as a number of issues related to project cooperation.
"The open sessions of the Women 20, traditionally held as part of the Eurasian Women’s Forum, have laid the foundation for joint work and long-term partnership, providing a reliable communication channel with other national and international women’s organisations across Greater Eurasia," — emphasised the Deputy Speaker of the Federation Council.
